In a recent viral video, renowned comedian Gary Owen expertly navigated an unexpected and provocative question from an audience member. During his stand-up routine, Owen was asked if he had ever said the "N" word, leading to an uproarious and candid exchange that has since captivated the internet.

The video showcases Owen's masterful handling of the situation, turning what could have been a tense moment into a comedic highlight. Owen’s response, filled with humor and honesty, begins with his incredulous reaction, "Have I ever said the n-word? Dude, what just happened? That question had nothing to do with my account. Did you think this was a TED talk?"

The comedian continues, addressing the audience member directly and humorously, "Come on, man. You've been sitting there for 45 minutes. Now, let me ask you this. There's no way if I did say it, I'm not going to say it on stage and tell you what I said. I've never said it with malicious intent. I listen to rap. You don't think when I'm in the car by myself, I'm singing this song? But it's always been by myself. Windows rolled up. Nobody else around. And I still look both ways where I stand."

Owen's candid and humorous explanation struck a chord with viewers, sparking a flurry of supportive and amused comments. One user praised, "That was a masterclass on how to handle that. That was poetry in motion." Another remarked, "Gary is a legend. Handled it well." A third added, "This is the most realistic, acceptable answer for this question."

Some comments highlighted the relatability and humor in Owen's approach. One user shared, "The other day, my coworker said 'Dada dada da...' and I replied with 'it's the motherf***in d-oh-double-g' and we looked at each other and said 'and that's where that song ends for us.'"

Fans of Owen and comedy enthusiasts alike applauded his deft handling of the situation, with one commenter noting, "I haven't been into comedians for like...20 years, but I would actually want to see this guy." Another added, "I love Gary: I’ve watched him all the way back on BET."

Owen's response even drew comparisons to other comedy legends, with one user referencing Chris Rock's classic routines, "Chris Rock had a good bit about this a while ago. His old HBO specials are so good."

In sum, Gary Owen's quick wit and comedic skill turned a potentially awkward moment into a viral sensation, further cementing his status as a beloved and respected figure in the comedy world.

If a white man says the n word alone in the woods and no one hears then it didn’t really happen.

Gary is a legend.

this is the most realistic, acceptable answer for this question. there's no repercussion to saying it alone unless that somehow spills over and you say it when there's people around. oh, and it's okay because it's Gary Owen. idk if this would work for other guys.
