A recently surfaced video on Reddit titled "That worthless coworker" has taken the internet by storm, triggering a wave of reactions and discussions. The video features a 23-year-old product manager at Metta detailing her daily routine, which has spurred mixed feelings among viewers.

The video begins with the young professional's morning ritual. "I always journal in the morning. I then do a quick workout routine," she says, setting the tone for what appears to be a productive day. She continues, "I get dressed. I try to look cute every day," followed by a scene of her grabbing food at the office and making her essential morning coffee. "I make a coffee every single morning. I need that," she emphasizes, highlighting a relatable morning necessity for many.

As the day progresses, the product manager is seen working on the roof of her office building before taking her lunch break there. She playfully remarks, "Here's me being cute," and mentions her habit of always having a snack. The video concludes with her shuttling home, completing what appears to be a typical workday.

However, it's the comments section where the real action unfolds. One user humorously notes, "Can you imagine the fight over who would get to fire this person?" This comment encapsulates the mixed reactions the video has elicited. Some viewers criticize the perceived lack of productivity, while others find the routine relatable and harmless.

The debate has sparked a broader conversation about workplace expectations and the varied definitions of productivity. This video serves as a perfect example of how seemingly innocuous content can ignite widespread discussions and differing opinions.

Whether you find the video amusing or frustrating, "That worthless coworker" at Metta has certainly captured the internet's attention, proving once again that social media can turn ordinary moments into viral sensations.

Sits in meetings all day, doesn’t get anything done, promoted.

Long-time tech worker here: Facebook and Google loved these employees because they were attractive and made working there look like an amazing lifestyle. Young male devs liked being around beautiful girls, so it motivated them. And young, early-stage career girls felt more loyal to the company because these people made working there feel like a cool club you were lucky to be a part of. It was all about the employment brand. Then, every so often, these people would move to a small, growing startup and it would be abundantly clear that in their years at these companies, they had never actually done anything. And time and time again, it was just f***ing painful to watch. Edit: Since this got a lot of likes and responses, let me edit to avoid sounding sexist. There are a lot of people of both genders at Meta and Google (the biggest offenders) that do f***-all. Some activist investors say as many as half of employees do nothing, and anecdotally, I would agree with that. I've never worked at either of those companies but know many people who do. They all describe their jobs as "cushy." The fact is, these companies generate hundreds of millions per day of self-service product-driven revenue, and most employees could go on a six-month vacation and no one would notice. So there's a large class of high-paid individuals with impressive job titles that do very little. Why don't employers fire these people? Because it looks good to have them.

Meanwhile people are shocked intuit fired 1/10 of its workforce they deemed “under preforming” I’ve got 3 buddies in tech. They are very good at their jobs however they are aware that they could be gone in a second with the amount of time they actually “work”…. 1 of those 3 (that’s the highest paid) and guesses he actually works a max 3-4 hours a week. It’s insane

“Here’s me being cute”… Lol the public level of narcissism and detachment here is absurd…. Almost awe-inspiring Lol.

I'm watching the full video of this Scott Galloway fellow. I like him. He is aware of how messed up things are, is still able to function and help students be highly employable in marketing. And somehow keeps his heart. Personally, I've found it REALLY HARD to be aware of how the world functions and then participate in marketing. Then entire blog spam nature of influence marketing, posting, and that it's all just a competition of noise. I envy people who are successful, because usually they have more greed than insight. It's a very rare person who actually understands, can still function and doesn't lose their heart in the process. I want to learn that skill.
