In a jaw-dropping video recently uploaded to Reddit, a bear was seen casually opening a car door, leaving viewers both stunned and amused. The clip captures someone exclaiming, "Oh my god! What the heck? That bear just opened that door!"

The viral moment has sparked a plethora of entertaining reactions online. One user humorously noted, "That bear has a nicer car than me." Another added, "Ohh I see how it is, You see a bear getting into a fancy car and all of a sudden you start profiling."

Living in bear country comes with its own set of challenges. One commenter shared, "That’s why you don’t keep food in your car and lock your doors. Happens where I live all the time. Sometimes they even leave you a big brown gift." Another added, "This is why they say making bear-proof waste containers is so challenging: there’s a significant overlap between the intelligence level of the smartest bears and the dumbest humans."

The video also prompted a string of clever jokes. Someone quipped, "Hey Boo Boo, let's go break into some more cars," referencing the famous cartoon characters Yogi Bear and Boo Boo. Another user shared a personal experience: "I was out walking a few years back, and saw a momma bear going down a row of cars, methodically trying the door handles on each one. And, after three or four, she found an unlocked one. She had her cubs with her, so they start training young!"

Other comments ranged from "Clever girl" to "He's on his way to work." This bear's antics even inspired a witty remark about ride-sharing: "Just goes to show, bears have better ride-sharing service!"

The video serves as a reminder of the intelligence and adaptability of bears. One user pointed out, "Are people surprised by this? First thing I was told was to lock your door if you encounter a bear as they will open doors." Another joked, "He has to get more porridge before his parents get home or someone's going to get in trouble for eating it all."

Whether the bear was an Uber driver or just curious, its actions have certainly left an impression. As one commenter humorously concluded, "Bears know how to pull!"

My brother started putting out bird feeders when he moved to northern NH, and the birds were suspiciously bear shaped, so he stopped. He left his car window open, and saw a bear climbing out. Claw marks in the door liner are the sign of that lesson learned.
