In a recent viral Reddit video titled "Got a notification there was a person detected at 3am at my front door," a comical and unexpected visitor was captured on a home security camera. The video has garnered significant attention, sparking a wave of amusing and creative comments from viewers.

The video begins with a rather mundane announcement, "OK, all set. Ok, I can connect you to my phone now." However, what follows is anything but ordinary. At 3 AM, a notification alerts the homeowner to a detected person at their front door. Upon reviewing the footage, the surprising visitor turns out to be none other than a frog, affectionately dubbed "Kermit" by one commenter.

The frog's appearance has led to a flood of humorous comments. One user suggested, "They’ve been trying to reach you regarding your car's extended warranty," while another quipped, "Kiss him, your prince has arrived." The lighthearted responses didn't stop there. One user shared their own experience with false alerts, "When I first set up my cameras, I got an alert every night for a week straight at 2am. And every night it was this random cat flopping down on my driveway and rolling around a few times before he got up and skiddadled away."

The video also reminded viewers of the quirks of modern surveillance technology. One user recounted, "These cameras crack me up. I have a Wyze camera in my living room for my pets and I was out to a movie one time, and the camera sent me an alert telling me someone was in my house. I PANICKED and opened the app to see who it was. Turns out I'd left the television going, and the movement must have caught the camera's attention."

Adding to the hilarity, another commenter playfully remarked, "Hello my baby, hello my honey, hello my ragtime gal…" while someone else jokingly demanded, "Let him in!" The frog's unexpected visit even led to speculation about its intentions, with one user humorously asking, "Well what did he want?"

The video has also sparked some wild theories and creative ideas. One comment suggested, "The rise in surveillance equipment is a ploy by the human people to out the lizard people," while another predicted, "Probably won't be long now that they see this HollyWeird will drop FrogMan the next billion dollar Marvel franchise."

This amusing encounter at 3 AM has not only provided a good laugh but also highlighted the unexpected and often entertaining moments that modern surveillance technology can capture. Whether it's a frog visitor or a cat rolling on the driveway, these moments remind us of the charm and unpredictability of everyday life.

LOL! These cameras crack me up. I have a Wyze camera in my living room for my pets and I was out to a movie one time, and the camera sent me an alert telling me someone was in my house. I PANICKED and opened the app to see who it was (I'm in an apartment, so hoped it was just maintenance or something). Turns out I'd left the television going, and the movement must have caught the camera's attention, because it was watching, thinking that those were people in my house. -\_-
