A viral Reddit video titled "let me do it" has been making waves online, showing the often-overlooked drama of installing a screen protector. The video features a humorous exchange that highlights the challenges many face during this seemingly simple task.

In the video, the protagonist insists on taking control, uttering phrases like "每個部位保護好你的鼻子和頭部" and "Listen to your ears." This translates to instructions on protecting one's nose and head, adding a funny twist to the situation. The multilingual mix, including phrases like "کررام 待遇 dim," adds an international flair to the comedy.

One of the most liked reactions is, "F*** you, do it yourself homie! Lol," perfectly capturing the frustration and humor of the moment. Another user shares a relatable story, "I did screen protectors for a long time. People give you more room than the quarantine restrictions when you are about to do their protector."

A standout comment recounts a sales rep de-escalating a heated customer by saying, "ma'am I need you to pull your hair back so that we don't get hair caught under your protector." This clever tactic not only calmed the customer but also highlighted the delicate process of applying a screen protector.

Other users chimed in with practical tips and personal anecdotes. One advises, "wipe the screen clean, then instantly cover it with the box of the protector to prevent last second dust particles." Another suggests installing the protector in a s***** bathroom to eliminate dust.

The video also sparked debates on the best methods and tools for installation. Comments like, "That shove was personal 😂" and "he was using the alignment sticker, not the dust sticker" show the variety of opinions and techniques out there.

Humorously, one user wrote, "I do it $100, You watch $150, You help $350," highlighting the complexity and often comedic nature of this everyday task.

While some viewers questioned the authenticity of the video, with remarks such as "Staged" and "Very fake," others appreciated the worker's handling of the situation, saying, "Good for the worker. Lol."

This video not only entertains but also educates on the do's and don'ts of screen protector installation. Whether you're a seasoned pro or a first-time installer, the "let me do it" video offers a light-hearted look at a common tech challenge. So next time, before diving into screen protector installation, take a cue from this viral hit and maybe let someone else do it!

I did screen protectors for a long time. People give you more room than the quarantine restrictions when you are about to do their protector. I once saw one of my sales reps de-escalate a customer that was letting off on him for no good reason. She was yelling at him, I was about to step in, and he looks at her and says, "ma'am I need you to pull your hair back so that we don't get hair caught under your protector." She shut up and scrunchied her hair right away. I think it gave her enough time to reflect. Because she apologized to him right after (that and/or she finally noticed me hovering... she was pretty out of line)

Yeah... but have you ever got a 9h hardness screen for $15 bucks and they still put it on 1/16" off center, and it bothers you every time you look at your phone?

This is why my teacher built a frame that "aligns" the glass and put it on the other side where clients can't reach The frame does absolutely nothing, it's just to avoid clients touching the screen, f***ing wasting cleaning stuff because of that Somehow cheaper option

I used to be the go-to guy at my job to put them on. Wasn’t even a service we offered. Tip: wipe the screen clean, then instantly cover it with the box of the protector to prevent last second dust particles. Peel the protector facing down at all times, hold it in your hands over the phone, then flick the box off with a free pinky. Lower and apply protector, should cling so smoothly with zero dust.

For anyone who wants a perfect screen protector install with no dust, go in your bathroom and turn the shower on as hot as it will let you. The steam will pull any dust out of the air.
