In a world full of debates, there is one that has been quietly simmering in the background for years - the proper way to hang toilet paper. But recently, a whimsical image has surfaced on social media that sheds light on this age-old controversy. The image, titled "It all makes sense now," features a poster above a toilet paper holder, with two cartoon faces that seem to represent the ongoing battle between beards and mullets.

The poster, situated on a light-colored wall, showcases two square-shaped smiling cartoon faces side by side. On the left, we have a face with a simple, friendly smile, while on the right, a surprised expression with a small 'o' shaped mouth. These expressions are believed to metaphorically represent the public opinion on beards (positive) and mullets (negative).

But what does toilet paper have to do with beards and mullets, you may wonder? Well, it turns out that the text on the poster provides a clue. It boldly states, "Beards are cool. Mullets are bad." This clever phrase hints at the ongoing debate surrounding these two distinctive hairstyles.

The image has sparked a lively discussion among social media users, with many sharing their own experiences and opinions on the matter. One commenter humorously remarked, "Yeah, well, it's a lot easier for a cat to unravel the toilet paper if it's in beard mode." Another person mentioned how they switched to the three seashells as a compromise to avoid the chaos caused by the toilet paper debate.

Interestingly, some individuals admitted that they didn't even realize that the direction of toilet paper mattered until a few years ago. It seems that this debate has flown under the radar for many, while others passionately defend their preferred way of hanging the roll.

Of course, no toilet paper debate would be complete without mentioning mischievous cats. Several users highlighted that their feline friends often find a way to wreak havoc, regardless of the orientation of the roll. It seems that adventurous cats have no regard for the ongoing struggle between beards and mullets.

Ultimately, as one commenter wisely put it, "There are only two ways to place toilet paper. Outwards and wrong (unless you have adventurous cats)." This sentiment captures the humor and lightheartedness surrounding the debate.

So, next time you find yourself in the bathroom, take a moment to reflect on the whimsical image that has united social media in laughter. Whether you're Team Beard or Team Mullet, remember that the most important thing is to unroll the toilet paper and wipe. After all, as one commenter aptly stated, "I am just happy the toilet paper is present."

But what if the toilet paper is female?! Girls have nice long hair, not beards.

Yeah, well it's a lot easier for a cat to unravel the toilet paper if it's beard mode. At my house the toilet paper position is not a debate, it's a matter of preventing chaos

My child likes to spin it, always up to down, the back way helps prevent me from having to constantly reroll up toiletpaper.

Either way it still works.

I turn them on their side. Argument is nullified.

I am so glad I am not afflicted with caring about the direction it rolls. I am just happy the toilet paper is present.
