In a delightful video that's making waves on social media, Eoin Lynch from Mitchelton, Cork, Munster, has been dubbed "The World's Most Irish Irishman." This charming farmer has captured hearts with his thick Cork accent and an unreserved love for all things slurry at the National Ploughing Championships.

Eoin sat down for an interview and shared his enthusiasm for the annual event, describing it as a "savage year" with "a lot of various sods around the place." His passion for slurry was unmistakable, as he confessed, "I love the slurry gear. I just think about slurry. I eat slurry and dream about slurry."

As the ploughing season wraps up on the 1st of October, Eoin plans to continue his farming activities by spreading parlour washings. When asked about his preferred tractor, he proudly mentioned his KS165, stating, "I wouldn't like to be seen in a John Deere now."

The video, which showcases Eoin's delightful personality and typical Irish idioms, has garnered a range of reactions from viewers. Some adore his accent, even if they don't fully understand his words, while others find his farming talk endearing and relatable. One viewer commented, "Awwww he's adorable," while another noted, "He's got a nice Cork accent, with typical Irish idioms and speech patterns. Seems a nice, decent guy too."

Eoin Lynch's appearance at the National Ploughing Championships, held annually in Ratheniska, Co Laois, has added a touch of genuine Irish charm to the event. With an attendance of 244,000 people over 800 acres, the Championships have evolved into a massive celebration of agricultural skills, attracting visitors from all over.

He's at The National Ploughing Championships, which are held every September in a central location in Ireland (just held this week, and this year was the third year it was held at Ratheniska, Co Laois (pronounced 'leash')). It started as purely a competition for the best ploughing skills, but has now developed into a three-day behemoth with an attendance of 244,000 people on 800 acres. Probably similar to a State Fair in the US. More info: https://www.npa.ie
