The video titled "Blade Runner, future is now" is capturing the imagination of viewers with its innovative use of technology. In this video, a streamer's farewell, "Bye, guys! Love you!" marks the end of an impressive display of futuristic tech.

Many viewers expressed their awe and curiosity about the technology showcased. One viewer mentioned the desire to purchase similar technology and join the entertainment platform OnlyFans, indicating the potential for new forms of digital monetization. Another comment highlighted that the streamer didn't develop the tech herself but used a kit from Movella, which provides motion capture solutions for indie developers. The integration of Unreal Engine and motion capture kits like IMU-based systems from SlimeVR was noted for its ease of use and impressive results.

Finger tracking technology, which integrates with VR gloves like those from Manus, was another point of interest. Although some viewers felt the finger tracking wasn't groundbreaking, they were impressed by the overall programmed interactivity with the virtual avatar. The natural look of hair physics and the amusingly exaggerated jiggle physics were also points of amusement and admiration.

Miko, the streamer, received praise for her incredible streams and the smart monetization strategy of tying donations to the bust size of her avatar. This innovative use of technology has drawn comparisons to advanced animation techniques like rotoscoping and even elicited comparisons to the futuristic world of "Ready Player One."

The advancements in VR and motion capture technology are leading some to envision a future where one could plug into the internet as easily as charging a phone, blurring the lines between reality and virtual existence. While some are thrilled by these possibilities, others expressed concerns about the potential for a future where distinguishing reality from virtuality becomes increasingly difficult.

Overall, this video and the reactions it has garnered highlight the rapid advancements in technology and their implications for entertainment, digital interaction, and personal expression. The future, as depicted in "Blade Runner," indeed seems to be now, and it's both an exciting and daunting prospect.

I would like to purchase this technology and then become a member of the entertainment platform onlyfans so that I can put things in my virtual v***** for money.

TinyOctopus

Tiny octopus would like this rig so that he can become a virtual cephalopod on only fans.

She didn't develop it, she brought a kit from this place. https://www.movella.com/applications/entertainment/motion-capture-for-indies

Ulthirm

Well she didn't make everything but the parts she has done as it is impressive. The engine is Unreal Engine, the equipment is a premade kit (IMU Based so https://docs.slimevr.dev/diy/index.html is a thing you could easily do instead), the finger tracking is neat from that company as well. The finger tracking appears integrate with existing VR Gloves like Manus, so camera or stretch pot based. I havent seen a ton of good open sourced options for that yet, lots of work on them tho.
