In the heart of the internet, a video titled "Had me in the first half not gonna lie" has taken the online community by storm. The video captures a moment that starts off with a surprising twist and quickly turns into a comedic spectacle featuring a shower and an unexpected cameo by Shakira's song.

The video begins with a repetitive chant, "dođi dođi dođi dođi dođi a? dođi dođi," before transitioning into the iconic verse from Shakira's**** song, "Hips Don't Lie." As the lyrics flow, "I never really knew that she could dance like this, she makes a man wanna speak Spanish," the scene unfolds into a funny and encouraging interaction between a cat and its owner.

One of the most memorable comments on the video reads, "But what if the shower is different this time? What if it’s horrible?….oh, it’s still nice!" This perfectly encapsulates the initial hesitation and eventual enjoyment experienced by the cat. Another user shared their own experience: "My cat gets so worried about ME going in the shower she swipes at me to get me to stay out of it! I have to give her snuggles until she leaves the bathroom and I can shower in peace. What a hard life..."

The video has sparked a lively discussion on the best practices for bathing cats. A viewer suggested, "I'm convinced the secret is getting the water warm enough and that what really scares cats is the cold, not the water. Remember that they maintain a higher body temperature than humans." This insight sheds light on a possible reason behind the feline's initial apprehension.

Despite the mixed feelings about showering cats, one comment stood out for its humor: "Using the cat to open the shower door is disrespectful! Ha." This playful remark highlights the unique way the owner managed to coax the cat into the shower.

The video also drew attention to the importance of proper handling techniques. One concerned viewer noted, "Yeah, the way you were carrying it I'm not at all surprised it was panicking. Who told you it's a good idea to put your hand around a cat's throat? Put your arm under their body so their legs are dangling and tuck them against your body..."

Amidst the humorous and educational comments, a encouraging story was shared: "I had an all white cat - Caruso. He would sit in the shower, not complaining, and you could shampoo and rinse him without the threat of a scratch. Such a good boy. Also if he needed medication all I had to do was to ask him to open his mouth..."

This video not only provided a good laugh but also brought together a community of pet lovers sharing tips, stories, and a deeper understanding of their furry friends. The unexpected Shakira soundtrack added an extra layer of fun, making this video a must-watch for anyone looking for a mix of humor, music, and adorable pets.

For those who haven't seen it yet, this viral sensation is a testament to the unpredictable charm of internet content. Whether you're a cat owner or a Shakira fan, this video is sure to bring a smile to your face.

Why do you weirdoes wet your cats? They only need this if already having a massive health issue. Eg infested with fleas, can't wash themselves, sick.

If I tried that with my cats I'd be a double amputee

I've gotta say, I've never thought about washing my cat. When did this become a thing

I’ve always wondered about the water temperature to wash dogs/cats. Of is it different for each critter?
