Lewis Capaldi, the Scottish singer-songwriter known for his**** songs and charmingly self-deprecating humor, recently gave an interview that has left fans and new viewers alike in stitches. When asked how he would promote his new album, Capaldi's response was anything but conventional. Looking directly into the camera, he quipped, "Don't waste your time. It's a complete and utter joke that I've been allowed to make a second one. If anything, I didn't think it was possible, I've got worse. So don't bother yourself with it. Go buy Ed Sheeran's latest album."

The interview only got more entertaining from there. When asked if he enjoys songwriting and performing, Capaldi candidly replied, "No, I hate this. This is like paying the bills. Honestly, it's tough, but it pays well." Despite his humorous complaints, Capaldi did admit that performing is fun and "better than having a real job." He added with a grin, "We are blessed. We are absolutely blessed. We are blessed and stressed and underdressed in my case. No, I love it. I love doing it. I'm not very good at anything else."

The video has sparked a wave of reactions. One viewer humorously pointed out, "What a video cutoff lol," while another admitted, "I don't like celebrities, but I like this lad." Others praised Capaldi's personality, calling him a "good egg" and a "funny chap." Some comments even revealed surprise at seeing Capaldi's face for the first time, with one user saying, "Just realized I'd never seen Lewis Capaldi's face until now." Another humorously added, "Never seen or heard this guy but somehow I hear Johnny Vegas in my head."

Fans of Capaldi also shared their thoughts, with one user noting, "I saw him on Graham Norton. I then found his album and it’s pretty good. He’s a great guy. Cousin of actor Peter Capaldi." The connection to actor Peter Capaldi, who played the 12th Doctor in "Doctor Who," was a point of interest for many, with one fan remarking, "Still weird to me when I realized he was related to the 12th doctor lol."

Despite the humorous tone of the interview, Capaldi's genuine charm and relatability shone through. One viewer summed it up well, "His style of music is not exactly my style, but I absolutely adore this man." Another added, "Lewis is a great guy, glad he's doing so much better with his issues."

Whether you're a long-time fan or new to his music, this interview with Lewis Capaldi is sure to bring a smile to your face and perhaps even make you reconsider your playlist.

Did whoever clipped this not think, when they were absolutely unable to keep his face in shot, "If only there were some way of having more horizontal latitude? If only this had originally been shot in some native format which took advantage of the wide horizontal field of view that our human eyes give us?"

It’s almost embarrassing, but I find him incredibly attractive.
