In an eyebrow-raising video titled “Oh, him? Yeah he gets out sometimes,” an unexpected sighting of a pet tiger casually strolling through a Mexican neighborhood has taken the internet by storm. The video, which features the tiger walking leisurely, has sparked a mix of shock, amusement, and concern among viewers.

A voice in the video is heard saying, "No, pero se puede acercar con uno, los animales de hoy en día," which translates to, "No, but you can approach with one, the animals these days."

One viewer sarcastically noted, “Keeping a tiger as a pet is a great way to get mauled & eaten by a tiger,” highlighting the inherent dangers of exotic pet ownership. Another humorously added, “Ah yes let me film the murder machine's leisurely walk,” pointing out the absurdity of the situation.

The video has also drawn comparisons to other unusual pet sightings. A user shared a story about a local veterinarian who keeps llamas and ostriches, which occasionally escape and cause a commotion in their heavy traffic area. This underscores the unpredictable nature of keeping non-traditional pets.

Some comments took a more lighthearted approach. One person quipped, “That’s just one of those neighborhood cats,” while another exclaimed, “KHAJIIT!!!” referencing the feline race from the popular video game series, Skyrim. The humor continued with comments like, “Here we see Tony the Tiger being coaxed back into his Mexican rehab retreat, to continue his recovery from his Frosties addiction,” and “Kittie!”

Yet, not all comments were in jest. Concerns were voiced with one user stating, “I would worry that it would eat a neighborhood cat,” and another reminding viewers of the potential consequences by linking to a video warning about the dangers of exotic pets.

Some shared personal anecdotes, such as having mountain lions as pets or recalling seeing a lion in a neighbor’s yard in Guadalajara, which adds to the surreal nature of the situation.

The video also sparked whimsical comments like “PSPSPS!” and “Did it escape from a local cartel's boss' mansion?” while others wondered about the tiger’s origins with, “Check if it’s chipped” and “Was this originally posted to NextDoor?”

This incident serves as a reminder of the unpredictable and often hazardous world of exotic pet ownership. The sight of a tiger roaming freely might be amusing to some, but it also underscores the importance of proper animal care and the potential risks involved.

For those who want to see this astonishing event for themselves, the video is sure to leave a lasting impression. Whether viewed with humor or concern, it’s a testament to the unexpected surprises that can occur when humans and wild animals cross paths.

There's a veterinarian across the road from where I work who keeps Llamas and Ostriches. Occasionally, they get loose, and they always run across the road to visit my building on the way to see the nearby houses further on. This is hilarious because the road in question has heavy semi traffic and highway-like speed limit. So every cop, animal control person and sometimes even firefighters get called in to corral them. It often takes over an hour and it's hilarious every time.
