A German's first visit to Trader Joe's has taken the internet by storm, bringing laughter and curiosity to viewers worldwide. The video, titled "German goes to Trader Joe's," showcases a man's amusing observations and reactions during his initial trip to the popular American supermarket chain.

As the German visitor steps into Trader Joe's, he is immediately struck by the store's spaciousness and the surprising number of dogs present. His bewilderment grows as friendly smiles and greetings from the staff and customers greet him at every turn. "Why is everybody smiling at me?" he wonders, humorously questioning if the cheerful demeanor is genuine or a result of some hidden agenda.

The highlight of his trip comes when a cashier named Kyle compliments his shoes. The German's reaction is both funny and touching: "He was like, hey, sir, I like your shoes. Ah, my shoes. He wants to f*** me. My German mom never told me she likes my outfit. This guy single-handedly gave me more love than my German mother ever did." This unexpected warmth leaves a lasting impression, prompting him to declare, "Kyle, I miss you."

Viewer reactions to the video range from laughter to cultural insights. One user noted, "The first nice Kyle. Good for him," while another added, "Kyle was amused by the shoes. He didn't actually like them." Some viewers were perplexed by the presence of dogs in a supermarket, with comments like, "Dogs in a supermarket? A supermarket with rules about hygienics!?" and "I hate dogs in the grocery store."

The video also sparked discussions about Trader Joe's history and employee conditions. One commenter explained, "Trader Joe's employees make substantially more than minimum wage. And Germans are taking their dogs everywhere. Restaurants, pubs, government offices, work, stores..." Another shared an interesting fact: "Funny how Trader Joe's was actually founded by one of the brothers that owns/owned Aldi. They split up the businesses in Germany and made Aldi and Aldi Süd (south), but due to weird laws in the US had to change one of the names, so Aldi Süd became Trader Joe's."

Overall, this German's playful and affecting encounter at Trader Joe's has resonated with viewers, offering a delightful glimpse into the cultural differences and similarities that make everyday experiences uniquely memorable.

He faked giving you friendliness and love, they have to fake emotions or they get fired. It's more emotional work than most actors do.

Funny how trader joes was actually founded by one of the brothers that owns/owned (not sure if they're still around) Aldi. They split up the businesses in Germany and make then Aldi and Aldi sud (south) but due to weird laws in the US had to change one of the names so Aldi Sud became trader joes.
