In a viral video titled "One slam! Don't ever let anyone get out of your CyberTruck while angry!! Lmfao!" on Imgur, viewers witness an unexpected and rather wacky moment involving a Tesla CyberTruck. This video, which has garnered significant attention, showcases what happens when a CyberTruck door is gently slammed.

The video begins with the statement, "Door's fine. So now I'm gonna gently slam the door." The narrator emphasizes that the door is flawless and has not been slammed yet. However, the moment the door is gently slammed, the panel inside the door immediately comes off. The narrator humorously compares this situation to a scene from "carnival Teletubby land" and remarks, "You just put a truck together with little plastic pieces. This is Legos."

Comments on the video reflect a mix of amusement and criticism. One user questions the legality of commercializing vehicles that lack basic security features. Another user points out that this issue happened to all four doors in the video, humorously suggesting that "Lego is more stable." The quality of Tesla's manufacturing is also criticized, with one commenter stating, "Lousy quality, no surprise, Tesla is known for that."

Some users provide technical insights, explaining that the problem isn't with the plastic connectors but with improper tolerances in the panel size. One comment notes, "When you slam it, it's deforming in a way that causes the panel to overlap something it shouldn't."

The video also sparked comparisons with other vehicles. One commenter mentions that their $10,000 car didn't have such issues, while another humorously states, "I got 99 problems, but old a** Toyota ain't one." Interestingly, a similar issue was reported with a Ford vehicle tested by the same individual.

The full video can be viewed on YouTube, as shared by one of the commenters: "full video: https://youtu.be/PK_EJ3DyiiA?si=pU78KF7ROYsiU-Iy". The video highlights not just the quality concerns but also the overall amusing nature of the CyberTruck's failure in what should have been an easy test.

In summary, this viral video offers a blend of humor and criticism, making it a must-watch for anyone interested in the durability and quality of modern vehicles, particularly the Tesla CyberTruck.

shouldnt it be illegal to commercialise vehicules that lack things like... basic security features?

Lousy quality, no surprise, Tesla is known for that. There is no scientific justification as to why their drivers follow Musk like disciples...

ParaspriteHugger

Nah, Lego is more stable.

RigoryMorty

That happened to all 4 doors in this video lol

Conz

Not really a gentle slam but not hard enough that it should wreck the door either.

In all fairness, this isn't a problem of plastic connectors, it's a problem of improper tolerances in the panel size. When you slam it, it's deforming in a way that causes the panel to overlap something it shouldn't. Metal connectors wont fix a part being the wrong size.

So the door lining just... Came loose from the slam? My $10,000 (new) p************ car didn't even do that!

Their first video on the subject: https://youtu.be/PK_EJ3DyiiA?si=zeN1HHc4L8JjzVsC The second video hasn't happened yet because they haven't had it returned repaired from Tesla yet. For the most part it's all very silly what they put the truck through, but the damning part is how the vehicle fails on the easy tests.

You can literally just pull the trim off with your bare hands.
