That Imperial officer in Star Wars did have a point. If the Force was so god-awful powerful, why did the Emperor build the Death Star instead of just using the Force? Even in the Rise of Skywalker, where he used the Force in a way never seen before, throughout he last trilogy he was still relying on overwhelming technology... from a planet turned into a Death Star to a massive fleet of Star Destroyers.
