A captivating image has recently made waves on social media, sparking heated discussions about wealth h***ding and societal perceptions. The image, which has a central black circular area encased in intricate red and white designs, features a striking message that has resonated with many.

Inside the black circle, the white text poignantly reads: “If a man has an apartment stacked to the ceiling with newspapers we call him crazy. If a woman has a trailer house full of cats we call her nuts. But when people pathologically h***d so much cash that they impoverish the entire nation, we put them on the cover of Fortune magazine and pretend they are role models.”

This thought-provoking statement has prompted a flurry of responses. One user remarked, "I think if the billionaires kept all their money in one dollar bills stacked in their home(s) we'd probably call them crazy too." Another added, "Sure, but the ultra wealthy aren’t h***ding cash. Most of their wealth is imaginary, tied to the value of stocks, art, real estate, etc., and not just massive piles of actual, tangible cash kept in Scrooge McDuck style money bins."

The conversation took another turn when someone commented, "Is this a quote from someone in Radiohead? If not, why are they using the Radiohead 'Modified Bear' logo?" This reference to Radiohead’s iconic symbol sparked curiosity and further debate.

One user passionately stated, "The country has been infected with brainwashing for years. The younger generations are finally starting to change the status quo and I say burn it to the ground and build a world for all of us." This sentiment echoes the growing frustration with the current economic disparity.

Another poignant comment highlighted, "The thing is I wouldn't give one f*** about billionaires h***ding wealth if people weren't dying and suffering due to lack of money or support that needs financing. If 99% of the planet lives comfortably and the 1% lived super well I wouldn't care."

The image, with its geometric and artistic red and white designs, encapsulates the central message beautifully, drawing attention and sparking deep reflections on societal values. The symmetrical motifs that resemble eyes or interlocking loops add to the visual appeal, making it not just a statement, but a piece of art.

Collectively, the responses to this image underline a critical issue: the need for a perspective shift in how society views wealth and success. As one user aptly put it, "Collectively, as a society, we cannot move into a 'better future' as long as wealth h***ding is celebrated. That requires a change of peoples perspective - education, journalism, justice - all of it must change."

This image serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of addressing economic inequalities and redefining what it means to be a role model in today’s world.

Sure, but the ultra wealthy aren’t h***ding cash. Most of their wealth is imaginary, tied to the value of stocks, art, real estate, etc, and not just massive piles of actual, tangible cash kept in Scrooge McDuck style money bins. I’m all for taxing them at an obscene level, mind you, but people should know they aren’t h***ding actual cash. That’s not how it works at that level.

Is this associated with Radiohead, or did they just rip off the bear?

It IS literally a mental disease, something I learned after knowing a couple of these people personally. It’s a straight up addiction to needing “just a little more”, in a way that becomes irrational. It should be an entire chapter in the DSM. These people are literally sick.

Collectively, as a society, we cannot move into a 'better future' as long as wealth h***ding is celebrated. That requires a change of peoples perspective - education, journalism, justice - all of it must change. Great place to start: Vote out anyone with an (R) behind their name.

hmmmfascinating

I just read Humane Society is ending free TNR and charging $70 per cat. Financial issues. Then I thought about this disgusting fact above. Then I got really, really mad.

Guy at my work regularly brags about his collection of 19 guns, which seems to be more socially acceptable than if I mention my two cats.
