Keith D. Johnson, a social media user with the handle @[email protected], recently shared a thought-provoking and humorous post that has sparked widespread discussion. The post comments on the decision by the Oklahoma Superintendent of Schools to introduce bibles as textbooks in every classroom. The message, which has caught the attention of many, humorously critiques this initiative and features a witty remark by Jim Wright.

In his post, Johnson describes how Jim Wright reacted to the superintendent's plan by quipping: "Good Morning, Children. Please open your Bibles to Ezekiel 23:19-21. 'Yet she became more and more promiscuous as she recalled the days of her youth, when she was a p********* in Egypt. There she lusted after her lovers, whose g******* were like those of donkeys and whose emission was like that of horses.' Your assignment is to ask your parents to help you write a 500-word essay on what you think that means. Illustrations optional."

The funniest parts of the, “We need Jesus in schools!” groups are they really don’t want Jesus’ teachings. No “love thy neighbor,” “don’t be a hypocrite,” “meek shall inherit the earth.” Just fire and brimstone and an unloving God stuff.

Will the bibles be bulletproof?

You can't fight fascism with witty comments. Stand up for people's freedom not to have religion shoved down their throat.

They'll pick and choose what to force teachers to teach just like the pick and choose what parts of the Bible to use to justify being absolute s*** human beings. I'm actually starting to wonder how far out we are from them just rewriting the Bible to fit their political needs. They took step one with those Trump bibles.

For people who fear reading as getting educated and questioning the Bible/faith, it’s kind of like they’re asking for kids to now grow up questioning it and start them early seeing the conflict and problems with it all. You know what, let them. This will only bite them in the a** even if we don’t agree with it.
