In an age where acceptance and understanding are increasingly important, actor Liev Schreiber has once again captured the public's admiration. A tweet from user Joelle Tungus (@TungusBusko) has resurfaced, showing a touching moment between Schreiber and his child, dressed as Harley Quinn for Comic-Con. Joelle Tungus tweeted, "I saw this pic like 6 years ago and Liev Schreiber was like 'My son wanted to be Harley Quinn for comic con so that's what we did, why are you being weird about it?' I just found out he's got a daughter now. He seems like a great dad 😢."

The image accompanying the tweet shows Schreiber holding hands with his child, who is joyfully dressed in a vibrant Harley Quinn costume. The costume features a red and blue jacket, a white shirt, blue shorts, and pigtails with pink and blue tips. The setting is an outdoor urban area, complete with vehicles and construction equipment visible in the background.

What stands out most in this image is not just the colorful costume but the message of unconditional love and support from Schreiber. His casual outfit, dark blue shirt, dark pants, and baseball cap, contrasts with the whimsical attire of his child, emphasizing the everyday normalcy he brings to his child's expression of individuality.

The tweet has sparked a range of reactions from users. One user commented, "My daughter excitedly told me all about how a lesbian in her class came out to her but how she politely turned her down but they have since gone from mild acquaintances to best friends who do everything together... Gonna sit back and continue playing dumb and think about all the grandkids I won't have to buy things for." Another user added, "I hope the bigots leave her alone," expressing a shared hope for a more accepting world.

Further adding to the conversation, a comment highlighted Schreiber's previous role: "in 1994 Liev Schreiber played a trans woman in a movie called Mixed Nuts. It stood out to me because while they made some trans jokes she wasn't exactly the b*** of the joke, like in other movies of the era. It really felt like they were trying to frame it as a real experience instead of just a reason for someone to be weird."

The supportive actions of Schreiber have drawn praise for setting a positive example. As one user succinctly put it, "Always awesome when 'stereotypical', burly manly-men are secure enough in their own sexuality to publicly support people around them unconditionally. Apart from being a fantastic dad and ally, he sets a good example for young cis men who struggle with the concept of what it means to 'be a man'. Only insecure weirdos feel the need to perform masculinity and project their limited worldview onto other people."

Liev Schreiber's actions continue to resonate with many, offering a beacon of hope for a more inclusive and understanding society. This viral moment reminds everyone of the importance of family support and the impact it can have on a child's confidence and happiness.

I wish I had that kind of confidence as a kid.

Ray Donovan is a bad a**.

It's all seeded in misogyny still. If his daughter wanted to be Batman far less people would care. A (then) boy wanting to be a female character is seen as bad because they view femininity as a bad thing. A worse thing than being masculine.

It amazes me how people can be so mad about what other people do. Just live your life and leave everyone else alone. This isn’t hard. It’s the opposite of hard.
