In today's digital age, text messaging has become an essential form of communication. From making plans with friends to confirming professional appointments, it's a quick and convenient way to stay connected. However, as one individual named Justin found out the hard way, it's important to double-check your messages before hitting send.

A recent screenshot that has been making waves on social media captures the amusing exchange between Justin and Behavioral Health Education Services. The image, shared by user "@jnudey" with the display name "rat boy," comes with the caption, "please excuse me while i search for a new psychiatrist." Little did Justin know that his innocent mistake would soon go viral.

The conversation begins with a notification from Behavioral Health Education Services, informing Justin about his upcoming appointment with Dr. Marshall on Monday, October 7 at 12:45 PM. The message politely asks him to reply to confirm the date and time. However, instead of a simple confirmation, Justin's response leaves everyone in stitches.

In a blue message bubble, Justin types the unexpected phrase, "p***** p***oo." It's clear that he didn't realize the message was not an automated one and was intended for an actual person. The comedic timing couldn't be more perfect as Behavioral Health Education Services follows up with a gray message bubble, questioning Justin's response.

"Justin, this is not an automated message," they write. "Should we consider this a confirmation for said time and date?" The embarrassment must have hit Justin like a ton of bricks because his subsequent message is marked with a tinge of panic and regret.

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry," he replies in a blue message bubble. "Yes, tomorrow at 12:45 works fine." The message is marked as "Delivered" at the bottom, indicating that Justin quickly realized his mistake and tried to salvage the situation.

The screenshot perfectly captures the lighthearted nature of the exchange and serves as a reminder for all of us to double-check our messages before sending them. It's a humorous reminder that even in professional settings, we can all make innocent mistakes that leave us red-faced.

As the image continues to circulate on social media, users can't help but laugh at the relatability of Justin's blunder. Many have shared their own embarrassing texting stories, creating a sense of camaraderie among digital communication enthusiasts.

So, the next time you find yourself typing a quirky response to an important message, take a moment to pause and reconsider. After all, you never know when your innocent mistake might go viral and become the talk of the internet. And for Justin, this amusing text message fail will forever serve as a reminder to double-check before pressing send.

I usually let all messages age for a week or ten until I no longer see the need to answer them.

If your message isn't automated, don't make it look like it is. My guess is that the message itself IS automated, but it's sent from the person's actual number so replies are handled manually.

Seems like a good coping mechanism to me in the face of all the automated messages we get nowadays.
