In a tender turn of events, Luis Armando Albino, who was abducted at the age of six from an Oak***d park in 1951, has been found alive after more than seven decades. The breakthrough in this cold case came through the persistent efforts of his niece, Alida Arlequin, and the use of modern technology, including online ancestry tests.

Albino was playing at an Oak***d park with his brother Roger when he was taken. Despite the efforts of the Oak***d Police Department and the FBI, he remained missing for 70 long years. Alida Arlequin, determined to find her uncle, took an online DNA test which matched with a man on the East Coast. The strong resemblance in old photos and newspaper clippings further fueled her determination.

"My daughter found a lot of pictures of this man, and we saw the resemblance that was so strong. How much he looked like my other uncles, and then there was one picture where he really looked like my grandmother. That one gave me chills," Alida shared.

With this crucial information, Alida approached the Oak***d Police Department, who involved the FBI. After a thorough investigation and DNA comparison, the man was confirmed to be Luis Albino. The emotional reunion took place in June, marked by hugs and tears. "He hugged me really tight and said, 'Thank you for finding me,' and gave me a kiss on the cheek. It was nice," Alida recounted.

Luis Albino visited again in July and spent time with his brother Roger, sharing stories from their childhood and catching up on lost time. Sadly, Roger passed away in August, but not before reuniting with his long-lost brother.

Reflecting on the incredible journey, Alida mentioned her grandmother, Luis's mother, who always believed her son was alive. She passed away in 2005, but Alida feels she was guiding her throughout the search, bringing the family back together.
