In a inspirational and humorous setting, an image titled "Introductory Calculus For Infants" has taken Reddit by storm, sparking a wave of laughter and nostalgic comments. Capturing a playful scene between a father and his baby, this image is both endearing and comical, highlighting the challenges of introducing complex subjects like calculus to the youngest of minds.

The image features a man, sporting a short brown hair and beard, comfortably seated on a couch with a smile on his face. Wearing a green long-sleeve shirt, he holds his baby, dressed in a cute pink outfit, on his lap. The baby, however, seems less amused, appearing to cry at the sight of the open book before them. The book, humorously titled "Introductory Calculus For Infants," presents colorful mathematical graphs and shapes, cleverly designed to resemble a storybook's depiction of calculus concepts.

This cozy and informal setting, complete with a white tissue and a pink phone casually placed on the couch, suggests a lighthearted moment aimed at making math fun. Yet, the baby's expression has resonated with many who recall their own bewildered encounters with calculus.

Reddit users have chimed in with their own experiences and witty remarks. One user reminisces about threatening to read calculus at bedtime, only for the mere mention of the subject to elicit tears of protest from a misbehaving child. Another commenter humorously notes that the baby’s expression mirrors their own when facing a calculus textbook. The jovial atmosphere continues with a suggestion to introduce the baby to more advanced topics like parametric equations and polar coordinates, while another user jokingly nominates the man for "Child Services" for daring to teach calculus to an infant.

The image, with its blend of adorable and amusing elements, has successfully captured the universal sentiment of grappling with complex math. It serves as a reminder of the initial intimidation many feel when first encountering calculus, turning a simple moment between a father and child into a relatable and entertaining story for viewers of all ages.

Once, when my kid was 3 or 4 and was misbehaving, I said "if you don't behave, I'll only read calculus to you for bed time". He started cried and said "no, don't read calculus". Needless to say that he had no idea what a calculus is and up until that point, never even heard the word.

He looks excited, you should probably start showing him parametric equations and polar coordinates
