In an unexpected twist to traditional pest management, a Reddit video titled "Well that’s one way to deal with a rat problem" showcases a peculiar method of dealing with a mouse issue. The video has sparked lively discussions online, with viewers sharing their thoughts on this unconventional approach.

The footage captures an attempt to shoo away a mouse using a leaf blower, a device more commonly associated with clearing leaves than evicting pests. As the narrator muses, "I think he's still there. He's still there. Somewhere," the scene unfolds with a mix of humor and creativity.

Viewers quickly chimed in with their reactions. One user noted, "It's gonna come right back," while another humorously dubbed it "Arnie the (I'll be back) Rat." There was a clear consensus among commenters that the critter in question was a mouse, not a rat, with one stating, "That's a mouse. Rats are way bigger."

The video prompted suggestions ranging from "Get a cat" to the more drastic "Kill em. So simple." Some commenters were amused by the potential of using different functions, with a few admitting they initially mistook the leaf blower for a vacuum. This sparked a conversation about the merits of trapping and releasing, emphasizing that relocation is key to preventing the mouse from returning.

For those intrigued by alternative pest control methods, this video highlights a humorous and creative approach. Whether it's a temporary solution or simply a funny anecdote, the idea of using a leaf blower to address a mouse problem has captured the imagination of many online. So, if faced with a similar situation, one might consider the advice to "trap and release" or, perhaps, invest in a feline friend to keep unwanted guests at bay.

I was kinda expecting them to s*** it up and then target somebody after changing to "blow"

Temporary solution. It will be back in the house within 24 hours.

It's a shame that the bucket and plastic wrap were so firmly fixed there. Then it would have been easier to move outside.

Get a cat

That's a mouse. Rats are way bigger. Also, yeah, he'll be back very quickly.

I thought that was a vacume at first. I thought man what a great idea.

No it's not a way to deal with it, if your trapping and releasing a mouse you actually have to take it far enough away to not come back.
