In a classic infomercial blunder, Harold's demonstration of the so-called "very safe" Flex-O-Ladder has gone viral, leaving viewers in stitches. The video, aptly titled "It's very safe," showcases Harold extolling the virtues of a ladder he claims is safe, durable, and lightweight. However, things quickly take a turn for the worse.

During the demo, Harold confidently asserts, "I tell you, it's very safe, it's durable, and it's lightweight. Harold, you're scaring me." Moments later, he insists, "See, now it's locked in place, okay?" But as fate would have it, Harold hadn't locked the ladder properly, leading to a spectacular fall. His colleague's alarmed cry, "Oh God, Harold, are you okay?" is met with Harold's sheepish admission, "Actually, I didn't have it locked."

The internet had a field day with this clip. One user wryly noted, "now it's locked in place. Famous last words," while another pointed out the obvious, "I think it's not very safe." Some commenters couldn't help but mock Harold's persistence, with one saying, "F***ing idiot kept going even after he knew it was collapsing. That’s why channel 9 news never contacted him for a second interview."

Others debated whether Harold's bruises were more physical or psychological: "His body got bruised more or his ego?" The comedic parallels didn't stop there, with another viewer drawing a comparison to a renowned QVC ladder commercial fiasco where an unfortunate demonstrator also took a significant tumble.

Interestingly, fans of Tosh.0 will recall that the show did a memorable web redemption for this very clip. The enduring popularity of the video is evident, with one comment declaring it "One of the best videos."

Not everyone saw the humor, though. Some viewers expressed genuine concern, with a comment stating, "I don't think backs are supposed to bend like that," while another noted, "Smacked his face on the ladder!"

Despite the mishap, some saw the lighter side, suggesting, "Definitely giving a few of these for Christmas presents this year" and "Ah, the good ol' Flex-O-Ladder - makes a great gift to any handyman husband."

Harold's demonstration may have been a fail, but it has certainly cemented its place in internet lore. Whether as a cautionary tale or a source of endless amusement, this clip is sure to be remembered. The final question many are left with: "Did he died?" For Harold's sake, let's hope he just walked away with a bruised ego and a lesson learned.

Reminds me of the QVC ladder commercial where they have the shill on the phone talking about how wonderful the ladder is, while they show a guy climbing up to wipe off a window. On the way down he just completely misses a step and falls h******to the wooden floor. The caller waits a beat, then goes "and that has never happened!"
