In a delightful video titled "The Copycat," viewers are treated to a meaningful compilation of cats mimicking human actions and sounds. From laughter to sneezes, these furry friends showcase their unique abilities to imitate their human companions in the most endearing ways.

One viewer shared, "One of my two cats tries to imitate my laughter when I'm watching a funny movie. It's amusing." This sentiment is echoed by another who mentioned, "If I cough, my little void coughs back. It's adorable. We have whole conversations in cough-speak."

The video also features a cat that has learned to meow "bless you" (reh row) whenever someone sneezes, a behavior picked up from observing household members. This inspired a witty comment, "It's a duplicat," perfectly capturing the essence of these feline mimics.

Another viewer recounted their experience, "My cat does that, he'll chitter, and if I chitter or clear my throat he gets excited and looks out the window. If he sees a bird, he'll do it again. It's the only time I feel like I can really 'talk' with my cat."

Interestingly, some cats use imitation as a way to communicate or respond to their environment. "My kitty thinks you're chattering because you're seeing something of interest and is just too lazy to join you. My kitty does the same. We use it to call him into the room because he comes running and looking for laser pointers or bugs," shared another cat owner.

Not all imitations are perceived the same way, though. One viewer noted, "That's usually a 'shut up I'm sleeping' noise," while another commented, "Not a 'mimic' but a very cute response."

The video sparked curiosity among viewers about the type of cats featured, with one asking, "Is this a Balinese cat?" This question highlights the diverse breeds that exhibit these charming behaviors.

A recurring theme in the comments was cats reacting to sneezes. One user mentioned, "My cat makes this sound when I sneeze if she's sleeping, then she leaves the room. I feel my cat is voicing a complaint about sneezes." Another added, "Mine blesses me when I sneeze, no matter where they are in the house."

For those intrigued by these fascinating behaviors, one viewer suggested, "Want to make your cat lose its mind? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qG9ZWUitFik," providing a link to another entertaining cat video.

"The Copycat" video is a delightful reminder of the special bond between humans and their feline companions. From imitating laughter to responding to sneezes, these cats bring joy and laughter to their owners' lives, making every moment with them truly unforgettable.

One of our cats started meowing "bless you" (reh row) when someone sneezed, because the other person in the house always said that.

I don’t wanna.. nah f*** it I’ll be that guy: kitty thinks you’re chattering because you’re seeing something of interest and is just too lazy to join you. My kitty does the same. We use it to call him into the room because he comes running and looking for laser pointers or bugs lol. Hell, one he got out and wouldn’t come back so I walked in side, did that noise, and a black streak came screaming from the bushes.
