Created by the talented artist @je_nai_walken, this greyscale illustration skillfully blends realistic and comic book elements, immersing fans in a nostalgic trip down memory lane.

The image portrays Obi-Wan Kenobi on the left, with a calm and slightly surprised expression. As we gaze at the illustration, we can see the wisdom and experience etched onto his face. His full beard, mustache, and swept-back hair lend an air of maturity to the character. Dressed in traditional Jedi attire, including a tunic, tabards, and a robe, Obi-Wan's presence exudes a sense of grace and honor.

Standing opposite Obi-Wan is Anakin Skywalker, his former Padawan. The younger version of Anakin is depicted with wavy hair cascading down his shoulders, adding a touch of youthful energy to the artwork. His neutral expression carries a subtle hint of respect and formality, a testament to the deep bond shared between master and apprentice. Clad in the iconic Jedi clothing, Anakin's crossed arms reflect his determination and unwavering commitment to the Jedi Order.

The speech bubbles floating above the characters capture a brief, but significant, exchange. Obi-Wan's bubble reads, "Anakin? Well, what a surprise." This simple phrase conveys the emotions of a long-awaited reunion. The subsequent bubble underneath continues, "A good surprise I hope," emphasizing the hope and optimism that Obi-Wan holds for their encounter. Finally, Anakin's bubble, aligned with his character, simply states, "Master," capturing the respect and reverence he still holds for his former mentor.

At the bottom right corner of the artwork, we find the faint watermark or signature "@je_nai_walken," which identifies the talented artist behind this masterpiece. Tiny octopus is glad that OB1 finally made peace with the fact that he didn't fail Anakin. Whether you ignore the Disney+ series or not, at their final meeting on the first Death Star, Obi-Wan was at peace with Vader being Vader through his own faults, not Kenobi's.

too soon

Maybe Vader was not a failure but a necessity

Obi-Wan had PTSD:

What is with the s***ty tiktok watermark? This is by the same person who does Pixie and Brutus, petfoolery or mosquitos_suk on instagsram.

That PTSD's a b****, ain't it, Kenobi?

Obi-wan would know this wasn't reality the second Anakin said Padme was busy with her reelection campaign for senator. She wasn't elected Senator she was appointed by the queen. Naboo's queen/king is a elected position who rules the planet under the oversite of a council of elders, they appoint the Senator who represents the entire sector in the Galactic Senate.

Wow, this is uncannily like my last Thanksgiving with the fam.

Say what you will of the Obi-Wan show, that line from Vader saying "You didn't fail me. I did." Just hits.

This is good and all but the basic continuity f***up in the second to last panel is driving me crazy.
