In a tweet that has taken the internet by storm, Twitter user @katefeetie, also known as Katie, shared a funny and relatable experience that involved a croque monsieur, a fried egg, and none other than the renowned author, J.K. Rowling.

The tweet, posted at 9:47 AM on May 13, 2024, quickly gained traction, accumulating an impressive 420.6K views. In the screenshot, we see a minimalistic black and white design, with Katie's username prominently displayed as "katie" and the handle "@katefeetie."

The tweet itself reads: "put a fried egg on my croque monsieur to make it a croque madame and now jk rowling is outside my house yelling."

What initially seems like a simple act of culinary creativity quickly escalates into a humorous scenario involving the famous author. For those unfamiliar with French cuisine, a croque monsieur is a delicious ham and cheese sandwich, typically grilled or baked, while a croque madame is the same sandwich topped with a fried egg.

Katie's innocent attempt at transforming her croque monsieur into a croque madame seems to have attracted the attention of J.K. Rowling herself. In a hilariously exaggerated twist, Katie humorously claims that the author is now outside her house, yelling in response to her modified sandwich creation.

The tweet resonated with many, garnering a flood of comments and reactions. One user cleverly commented, "If a croque madame talks to another croque madame and it's not about a croque monsieur, that's called 'passing the béchamel test'." Others expressed their amusement, with one person admitting, "That's a quality joke right there."

However, amidst the laughter, some users also mentioned J.K. Rowling's controversial stance on certain topics, particularly her views on transgender issues. While there were differing opinions on whether the tweet was meant to be anti-trans or simply sarcastic, it sparked a discussion among netizens.

Regardless of the varying interpretations, Katie's tweet showcases the power of social media in creating humorous and relatable moments. It highlights the unexpected connections we can make through shared experiences, even if they involve something as simple as a sandwich.

So, the next time you decide to get creative with your food, just remember that you might unintentionally summon a famous author to your doorstep. And if that author happens to be J.K. Rowling, well, prepare for some entertaining chaos.

In the end, let's appreciate the joy and laughter that Katie's tweet brought to the online community. It serves as a reminder that even in the midst of serious discussions, a lighthearted moment can unite people from all walks of life.

I fear this joke won’t get the credit it deserves.

I honestly don't understand her. Trans people existing affects her life in NO way. She's literally one of the richest people on Earth. She could also be one of the most respected people on Earth, if she'd just minded her own & quietly enjoyed all that money & basked in the warmth of the millions of fans of her book series. But nooooooooo she just HAD to go Full Karen against trans people & try & hurt them for no reason.

If a croque madame talks to another croque madame and it's not about a croque monsieur that's called "passing the béchamel test".

And now I'm hungry

That's a quality joke right there.

I don't understand. Can someone explain?

Call her Joanne. She f***ing hates it. She doesn’t identify with what she was assigned at birth and wants everyone to use her new identity.

Recently she compared being trans to blackface. So enjoy that.

I put 2 eggs on my croque madame because b***s.

She doesnt even sound anti-trans to me, most of the things Ive seen that she posted have been supportive but for some reason the trans community has decided to hate her and make some kind of example out of her for arguing about semantics.
