This reminds me of a story about two pitbulls, one belong to me, the other to my little brother. My pitty (boy) was abandoned by prev owner and would often shake while he slept until i sang him to sleep. My lil bro got a pitty (also boy). For some reason, mine decided to "mother" the baby pit, played with it, cleaned it, kept it safe, made sure it ate, etc. Sweetest pitty ever, i was "fostering" him and he eventually got adopted.

I am SO glad that the hysteria over pitbulls has largely died down. They're as sweet and loving as any other breed, and it was horrifying to see them getting demonized for the actions of irresponsible and abusive humans.
