Republicans Push Election Fraud Allegations at RNC
Updated Thursday, July 18, 2024 at 6:08 AM CDT
The Republican National Convention (RNC) in Milwaukee has reignited the debate over the 2020 presidential election results, with GOP leaders continuing to push false allegations of widespread voter fraud. These claims, which previously led to a violent riot at the U.S. Capitol, remain a major theme at the convention.
House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) st***d fears about illegal immigrants disrupting elections, while Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) accused Democrats of prioritizing votes from illegal immigrants over protecting children. Rep. Steve Scalise (R-La.) echoed these sentiments, alleging that Democrats want illegal immigrants to vote, despite it being illegal for noncitizens to vote in federal elections and evidence showing they rarely do.
In a recorded video message, former President Donald Trump accused Democrats of cheating, and West Virginia GOP Gov. Jim Justice warned of chaos if Trump is not elected in 2024. Trump's new vice presidential running mate, Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio), who previously stated he would not have certified the 2020 election, suggested that states like Pennsylvania and Georgia should have had multiple slates of electors. This ties into the 2020 "fake elector plot," a scheme to subvert the Electoral College process.
At the convention, Peter Navarro and Roger Stone were celebrated by delegates. Navarro, who was recently released from federal prison after refusing to comply with a congressional subpoena related to Jan. 6, bragged about his involvement in the scheme. Stone, whose sentence was commuted by Trump, was treated like a celebrity.
Milinda Morris, a delegate from Texas, voiced concerns that Democrats would steal the upcoming November election, emphasizing the need for Republicans to outvote any cheating.
JD Vance is set to accept the Republican nomination for vice president on Wednesday night. However, he is avoiding a debate against Vice President Kamala Harris, who has been advocating for reproductive freedom. The debate has been discussed for two months, with CBS News offering potential dates, but the Trump campaign has yet to agree. Instead, they have agreed to a debate hosted by Fox News.
On the Democratic side, President Joe Biden has stated he is not exiting the presidential race despite growing concerns among Democratic members of Congress that he would lose to Trump in November. Vice President Kamala Harris is emerging as Biden's likely successor, with calls for Biden to drop out. If Biden exits, Harris could inherit his sizable campaign war chest.
Rep. Adam Schiff, a prominent Democrat running for the Senate in California, has called on Biden to drop out, believing Harris could win overwhelmingly and be a phenomenal president.
Meanwhile, tensions at the RNC heightened when Donnell Tinsley, 21, was arrested near the convention carrying a concealed AK-47 pistol without a permit, along with other suspicious items. This incident underscores the increasing volatility surrounding the 2024 election.
As the RNC continues, the GOP's focus on election fraud and fears about illegal immigration are setting the stage for a contentious election season.
Conservative Bias:
Once again, the liberal media and their Democratic puppets are pushing their false narrative about the 2020 election. The RNC is rightfully highlighting the rampant voter fraud that the Democrats are trying to sweep under the rug. Speaker Mike Johnson and Senator Ted Cruz are simply pointing out the obvious: Democrats are more interested in getting illegal immigrants to vote than in protecting our children and our democracy. Former President Trump and Governor Jim Justice are warning about the chaos that will ensue if we don't take action now. The liberals are scared because they know JD Vance and the GOP are ready to expose their fraudulent schemes. And let’s not forget the heroism of Peter Navarro and Roger Stone, who are being unjustly persecuted for standing up for the truth. Meanwhile, the Democrats are in disarray, with even their own members calling for Biden to step down. The arrest of Donnell Tinsley near the convention is just another example of the left's violent tendencies. The GOP is fighting to save America from the socialist nightmare the Democrats are pushing.
Liberal Bias:
The Republican National Convention is nothing more than a circus of lies and fear-mongering. GOP leaders are once again pushing baseless allegations of voter fraud, which have already led to a deadly insurrection. Speaker Mike Johnson and Senator Ted Cruz are shamelessly stoking xenophobia and fear, prioritizing baseless accusations over the safety and well-being of children. Donald Trump continues to spew his dangerous rhetoric, while Jim Justice warns of chaos if Trump isn't elected, effectively threatening democracy itself. JD Vance, who refuses to debate Kamala Harris, is part of this far-right delusion, promoting the same "fake elector" nonsense that undermines our electoral process. Celebrating criminals like Peter Navarro and Roger Stone, who defied the law and were rewarded by Trump, shows the GOP's disdain for justice. Meanwhile, the Democrats are trying to maintain stability, with President Biden committed to the race despite internal calls for him to step down in favor of Kamala Harris. The arrest of Donnell Tinsley near the convention is a stark reminder of the violence that the GOP's rhetoric incites. The RNC is setting the stage for an election season filled with lies, fear, and division, showing their true colors as enemies of democracy.
